The Blazer disappeared from the market 15 years ago, but it’s now making a big comeback. Unveiled in Atlanta in June, the all-new 2019 Chevrolet Blazer will hit the market later this year. With an aggressive design that incorporates several elements from the Camaro, the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer will certainly attract attention.
Two Engines and Plenty of Space in the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer
The Chevrolet Blazer’s mission will be to fill the gap between the Chevrolet Equinox and the Chevrolet Traverse. The first is smaller while the second is huge. With the Blazer, consumers may find the perfect in-between.
The Blazer will offer nearly 2,000 litres of cargo space, five spacious seats, and a towing capacity of 4,500 pounds.
It will be powered out of the gate by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with 193 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. This engine will be paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission that should provide impressive performance while reducing fuel consumption.
Those who want a little more punch under their right foot will be able to turn to the 3.6-litre V6 Blazer with 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. This engine will also be paired with a 9-speed gearbox and AWD.
Visually, the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer certainly has a bold style. With its Camaro grille, it will stand out on the road while also being elegant and refined. It will offer a host of technologies starting with integrated Wi-Fi, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and plenty of driver assistance technologies as well.
